# About Us

> Enterprise-grade cybersecurity shouldn't be out of reach for small businesses or non-profits. We exist to change that.

Andraste Consulting Services was founded on a straightforward belief: the size of your organization shouldn't determine the quality of protection you can access.

Enterprise-grade cybersecurity has long been priced and packaged for large companies. That leaves out the organizations that need it most: small businesses operating on thin margins, and non-profits focused on their mission rather than their IT budget. Attackers face no such constraint.

We set out to close that gap. We deliver the same depth of security expertise that Fortune 500 companies rely on (vulnerability assessments, compliance readiness, incident response planning, ongoing monitoring), structured and priced to work for small and medium businesses. Qualifying non-profits receive those same services entirely pro-bono.

Andraste is organized as a benefit LLC under Maryland law. That structure commits the company, in its articles of organization, to acting ethically and pursuing a public benefit alongside profit; a benefit corporation carries the same commitment in its corporate charter. Because the obligation sits in the founding documents, our accessible pricing and pro-bono work are things the company is legally bound to. We can't quietly walk away from them when they become inconvenient.

## Our Founder

Rebecca has spent nearly two decades building and securing high-reliability systems in healthcare, financial services, and regulated fintech.

She served as a Security Advocate and engineering lead at a major health technology company, where she architected the authentication and session management systems for a large-scale consumer health platform. In regulated fintech, she took production systems from prototype to launch, introducing the monitoring, alerting, and security practices that financial infrastructure demands. Throughout her career, she has brought enterprise-grade rigor to organizations that didn't yet have it.

Outside of Andraste, Rebecca serves as Co-Chair of the Rockville Human Rights Commission and as a Commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission on People with Disabilities. The same instinct drives both: using expertise to show up for communities that deserve better than what the market typically offers them.

## Security that doesn't cut corners, or budgets.

Every organization deserves the level of protection that large enterprises take for granted. We've built our practice around making that a reality.

### Affordable for Small & Medium Businesses

Enterprise-grade security tooling and expertise, structured and priced for the realities of running a smaller organization. There is no stripped-down lite tier; every client gets the same protection.

### Pro-Bono for Non-Profits

Non-profits run on tight margins, and attackers know it. Qualifying non-profit organizations receive our full cybersecurity services at no cost.

### No Compromise on Quality

A 10-person business and a 500-person charity get the same team, the same standards, and the same rigor. Quality doesn't scale with your budget.

## What we stand for.

We apply these principles to every engagement.

- Accessibility
- Integrity
- Transparency
- Accountability
- Mission-Driven Work
